My name is Thomas, I’m a 23 year old environmental management/engineering student from Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. I’ve had a deviantART account for over 7 years now, and occasionally uploaded some stuff over the years, but I’ve only been REALLY active for the past few years. As you might’ve seen already I’m into photography and enjoy taking photos of nature, and other than that also pretty much anything beautiful or worth remembering that I come across. Photography isn’t the only form of art I appreciate. I really like surreal works from (or inspired by) artists like Dali and Beksiński, I’m interested in modern and old architecture, graffiti art, photo manipulation, graphic design, tattoos, literature, poetry … pretty much anything that provokes certain thoughts is art in my books.

When I’m not busy taking photos I enjoy playing guitar (bass, acoustic and electric), ask me for my youtube channel if you’re interested in seeing me play furthermore I’m into cars, American cars in particular! I own a '94 Chevrolet Beretta V6 that I try to keep in tip-top shape. I’m also a real movie-freak. I love watching movies of pretty much any kind, but especially horror, post-apocalyptic, adventure, and movies with a deeper meaning like for example V for Vendetta, Equilibrium or They Live. Which brings me to philosophy, foreign cultures, politics, psychology, deep thinking.. I find it all very fascinating.

Depending on my mood I can listen to anything from the darkest saddest music like doom metal to happy punk rock or rockabilly, from classical music to drum ‘n bass, old school hip-hop to shoegaze, post-rock and ambient music…oh and throw some jazz, metal and blues in between there as well. There are of course a couple of genres I don’t like but hey, why focus on the things you don’t like when you can focus on the things you like!
